WHAT WE DO
Ovimo Plastics is specialized in organizing the extensive logistical network that is involved in the shredding of large batches of plastic waste.
We buy plastic products such as crates, containers, pallets, PET bottles and bottle caps. We then shred these to create the base material for the plastic recycling industry.
We supply the injection molding and extrusion market with many plastics such as HDPE (high density polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), LDPE (low density polyethylene) and PS (polystyrene). For this purpose we have our own storage facilities, strategically positioned throughout Europe.
We also use mobile shredding units to shred on location.
Established and reliable transport companies - nationally and internationally, over road and water - guarantee speedy delivery from our own stock.
Quality
All the products we supply are strong and durable. We know exactly where they come from and we examine every batch upon arrival.
Most vendors and producers we work together with are ISO certified. We care deeply about the quality of our products!
Quality Control
Shredded plastics must comply with European guidelines for the plastics industry and may only contain very limited amounts of cadmium and heavy metals. We also test the shredded plastics for specific qualities, such as Melt Flow Index (MFI) and density. At Ovimo Plastics we carry out these quality checks ourselves, so that we can always guarantee excellent quality.
